In preparation for their end of year exams 10T carried out an investigation into the optimal amount of water in a water rocket.

This investigation was a great opportunity to see that sometimes less is more. The boys' found that the water volume that gave the most hangtime was around 800ml, with hangtime decreasing above this amount.
