Boarding Fees

The 2019 fee of $14,100 inclusive of GST (which includes the Student Development Levy of $100) is charged as four payments as follows:

A discount of 10% for second and subsequent brothers is deducted from boarding fees. There is no discount for other fees.

A deposit of $400 is payable on receipt of notification of the allotment of a place. It will be credited against the first fees due when your son enters the hostel. This is a non refundable deposit.

* The Building Levy, $400 per student per annum charged at $100 per term, goes entirely towards the redevelopment project which will provide a new recreation area and car parking.

** Student Development Levy - $100 per student per annum, charged at the beginning of the year. This levy
is used exclusively for the development of young men at the hostel. The levy is spent annually at the sole
discretion of the Hostel Parents’ Committee. Hostel parents have a direct say through this levy into the
personal development of their son.

What if i pay termly?

A discount of $50 is available for boarding fees paid by the Friday before the start of each term.

What if i pay upfront?

A discount of $500 is offered to families who pay the full year’s boarding fees by the 8 February 2019, the total amount with the discount being $13,600.

Late fees

Any boarding fees unpaid by the first Monday of the term may incur a $50 late fee with a further $50 late fee if unpaid after two weeks.

 

Ministry of Education Boarding Allowances

Students are eligible to apply for a Boarding Allowance if they can demonstrate they are facing barrier(s) to
achieving educational success, and that boarding away from home will remove those barriers.
