Not too much to report, with this being another shorter week.
It was therapeutic having a sunny Anniversary Day to enjoy a break from the normal school routine, while at the same time soaking up some vitamin D.
Junior Man of the Week – Oliver McCall is a quiet, tolerant young man with a great attitude and good manners.
Senior Man of the Week – Fred Dowling is the epitome of an all-round School House Good Soldier. He is always resilient, motivated, cooperative, and enthusiastic to be around.
Parents, could you please double-check whether your son requires a meningitis immunisation and email Matron as soon as possible at [email protected].
There have been some cases of meningitis reported in and around Dunedin recently, so we all need to ensure we are protected against this potentially life-threatening disease.
Many of you still need to send an enrolment form to the Maori Hill Clinic so that your son can be seen there as a casual patient. Otherwise, the only option when they become unwell is to visit the Urgent Doctors, which often results in waiting for hours. Please phone 03 464 0044 if you are unsure or if you need another enrolment form emailed to you. Thank you.
Congratulations to Ben Brown, whose passion and dedication to his golf have led to some impressive results. Ben won the Under 10 Handicap Dunedin Futures Golf Series and was runner-up in the U16 Otago Championships recently. Efforts to be proud of, well done, Ben.
Sunday will see the return of our rowing boys, who will no doubt be shattered after a gruelling week competing at the Maadi Cup. We wish them all the best in the races still to come and look forward to hearing more exciting results.
Next Wednesday, April 1st, we are holding a Formal Dinner as Term One draws to a close. This is a great opportunity for boys who have strived to be their best to be acknowledged.
