Lunchtime in the library today was tense with excitement as teams from the four school houses competed in the Inter-House Quiz Competition.
We recently had three boys competing in the NZCT Chamber Contest. The competition starts with the Otago regional section, which consisted of 26 groups vying for one of eight spots in the region final.

Wednesday was a massive day for a number of OBs boys. The Big Sing competition saw 25 choirs from around Otago and South Canterbury perform a repertoire of three songs.
We have been advised that the Otago regional strike planned for Wednesday 19 June has been CANCELLED. Therefore, Wednesday 19 June is a normal school day for all students.
Last week the Year 12 Outdoor Education students travelled to Twizel to undertake the Alps to Ocean cycle tour.

Congratulations to Year 13 student Nick Taggart who has been selected as goalie in the New Zealand Men's Water Polo team that will compete at the Australian Interstate Challenge in July.
Our year 13 and 12 students took part in the Office of Film and Literature Classifications bi-annual classification activity on the 12th of June.
The Year 13 Chemistry boys visited the state of the art Mellor laboratories at the Otago University last week.
