The OBHS Parents’ Association is group for parents/caregivers of current students. We organize fundraising, give out grants and host social occasions at the request of the school. Over the last years we have supported a wide range of extended learning, from choir trips to sports equipment, workshop machinery to technology. contributed towards the purchase of a school van and recently made a contribution to the music department for new equipment.
The PTA meets on a Thursday, each month at 7pm in the OBHS staffroom. Check out our Facebook page or the school newsletter for details.
Attending PTA meetings is a great way of finding out what's happening at your son's school. These meetings are usually attended by a teacher representative or the Rector. It is also an opportunity to discuss and have input into ways the Parents’ Association can support the school and to get to know other parents who are also keen to make a contribution to their son’s learning.
Anyone who has a son at the school is welcome to attend our meetings and the commitment level you wish to give is completely up to the individual. If you would like to be involved in email [email protected] and we will add you to our email list.
We run a number of second hand uniform sales through the year with buy/sell and exchange options. For more information click here
