A Night to Remember: The 2026 Year 13 School Ball

After the sudden and unexpected closure of our original venue just two weeks out from our Formal, a massive amount of hard work happened behind the scenes to rescue the night and bring our 2026 event to life.

Our students and their partners traded their school uniforms for sharp suits and stunning gowns, bringing glamour, incredible energy, and enthusiastic dance moves to a spectacular night of music and laughter - creating memories that will hopefully last a lifetime.

We want to extend a massive thank you to our incredible vendors: Dunedin Venues, Gravity Events, and Precinct Food, as well as our Year 10 helpers. They all accommodated our last-minute chaos with absolute grace and turned a potential disappointment into an absolute triumph.

Kade Lawrie:

The DJ was really good and the food was amazing. I liked the idea of the food platters to the side, and the finger food that was brought out was incredible. I think it was cool to have a photo booth that gave us photos on the spot, and then a cherry on top to get professional photos taken. Overall, I thought it was amazing and I've only heard positives about it from people that attended.

Oliver Devereux:

The non-formal set-up made the event more social in terms of not being seated at tables and waiting for plates. It was good to be able to mix and talk to everyone and eat when you wanted.

Will Pyper:

Such an awesome night, it was great to see our year group and the teachers come together for the special occasion at Glenroy Auditorium. A highlight for me was spending time with my mates.
