Relay for Life

Last Saturday, a group of OBHS boys went down to Forsyth Barr Stadium for the annual Relay for Life.

This event raises funds for the Cancer Society of New Zealand and awareness about cancer. Participants walk (or run) around the stadium to show that the fight against cancer never stops — a message clearly demonstrated by the efforts of our boys.

It was a great event, with an excellent turnout and an awesome atmosphere to be part of. A special shout-out to Luca Mirosa and Max McCaul, who each ran 50 km across the entire day!

Thank you to every boy who showed up to walk a few laps, spread the word, or donate to our team, and thank you to everyone outside the school community who helped make our efforts possible. In total, OBHS raised $2,276, while the event as a whole raised a record-breaking $260,000!
