After an absolute powerhouse of a season, our very own Crew Wilson is heading away to Palmerston North this week to compete at the highest level of youth softball!
A Season of Excellence
Crew’s journey this year has been nothing short of legendary. His dedication to the sport and his consistent performance for Otago have opened doors to the national stage.
The milestones that led to this moment:
NZ U19s (Christchurch): Earlier this year, Crew kicked off the season representing Otago.
NZ U17s (Auckland): Just one week later, he backed it up at the U17 National Tournament, where his skill earned him a spot in the NZ U17s Rest Team.
Junior Black Sox: The ultimate reward for his hard work came recently with his selection for the U18 Junior Black Sox Wider Squad.
The Road Ahead: ANZAC Weekend
Crew will be testing his skills with the event in Palmerston North featuring a heavy-hitting lineup, including:
Australia
American Samoa
Manawatu
NZ Wider U18 Squad (Pango)
