Students Impress at Talent Quest 2026

The 2026 OBHS Talent Quest Semifinals were held in the library on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Eight acts performed over the two days with hopes of making it through to the final round of the competition. As always, the judges were impressed by the quality of the performances on display. One judge particularly noted the “dynamic range in acts across the board, all performed to a high level.”

The acts moving on to the final round of the OBHS Talent Quest 2026 are:

• Autumn Jazz Inc – Instrumental Jazz Band

• Redshift – Rock Band

• Oscar Cadden – Guitar, Harmonica, and Singing

• Yoda Fang – Guitar

• Lucas Liu – Singing

• Reserve act: Jack Orlovich – Saxophone

Congratulations to everyone who performed! Regardless of whether you made it through, you were all amazing, and we hope to see you continue participating in future events. The final will be held during Senior Assembly on 5 May and will be filmed and uploaded to YouTube.
