OBHS Pasifika Students Shine at Speech Competition

OBHS Pasifika students travelled with OGHS to participate in the “Pasifika Voices” Speech Competition in Balclutha.

They showed courage and honoured their aiga and school.

Ryan Nafatali, a Year 12 student, placed 1st in the Senior English category, following in the footsteps of his sister, Tiara, who placed 1st in 2019. Your hard work and perseverance have served you well—congratulations, Ryan.

Year 10 student Mounga Moataane made himself, his family, and Otago Boys’ High School proud with an outstanding speech. His excellent presentation earned him 1st place in the Junior Tongan section – a fantastic achievement!

Well done, gentlemen, we hope your success inspires other boys to take up this challenge next year.
