Skating, Smiles, and New Friendships

Yesterday was a day full of laughter, spins, and a few spectacular wobbles as our international students joined forces with friends from across Dunedin for an unforgettable ice skating adventure!

From the moment they stepped onto the glistening ice, the excitement was contagious. Students zoomed, twirled, and even tried a few daring moves (with plenty of cheers from onlookers!). For many, it was their first time on the ice, making the experience even more thrilling.

Beyond the skating, the day was a wonderful chance to make new friends, share stories, and celebrate the joy of coming together as a vibrant international community. By the end of the session, smiles were everywhere, new friendships had been forged, and a few brave skaters even showed off some impressive moves!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible – from the organisers to the friendly volunteers who cheered everyone on. We can’t wait for the next adventure on ice!
