With Scholarship results coming out last week, we take a moment to celebrate the achievements of our senior students.

At our school, academic excellence takes many forms, and we are incredibly proud of the pathways our students choose to challenge themselves and prepare for their futures. One of these, although not exclusively, is the NZQA Scholarship exams.

We would like to extend a special congratulations to our high achievers, and we look forward to recognising these boys at our Scholarship Assembly next week.

Vincent Cavanagh: Achieving a Scholarship in English as a Year 11 student is a remarkable feat, demonstrating both maturity and a deep command of his subject matter.

From Vincent: Participating in Scholarship English last year marked a significant advancement beyond any academic work I had previously undertaken, an opportunity that I found both challenging and deeply rewarding.

I am sincerely honoured to have received this Scholarship, especially as a Year 11 student. This achievement reflects the many hours of dedicated effort invested over the course of the year. I look forward to applying the skills and insights I have developed to future academic pursuits.

Will Cone: Will’s success in Geography Scholarship as a Year 12 student reflects sustained dedication and a high level of critical thinking.

From Will: I really appreciated the rigour of higher-level learning and developing my writing skills, which will help set me up for Level 3 and beyond. I enjoyed the challenge of taking a Scholarship course, and it was rewarding to accomplish my goals.
