Coast to Coast

I recently competed in the Kathmandu Coast to Coast World Championship multisport race, a demanding event that spans from Greymouth to Christchurch.

I knew heading into the race that it wouldn’t be easy, and it proved to be the hardest event I have ever completed. By the finish line, I had absolutely nothing left in the tank — sore and exhausted — but incredibly proud to have taken part and finished.

I was pleased with my performance across all disciplines, particularly my cycling, where I was able to ride in the leading groups. One of my personal goals was to stay upright in the kayak section, and I’m happy to say I achieved that as well!

Every race teaches me something new about where I can improve and what I need to work on next. This definitely won’t be my last Coast to Coast, and I’m already looking forward to the races ahead in the 2026/27 season.
