Senior Academic Coaching

Next Friday, 27th February, students in Years 11 to 13 will not attend their regular classes.

Instead, your son will schedule a 20-minute, in-person appointment with his form teacher. We strongly encourage parents and caregivers to participate in these appointments. Please discuss with your son to determine a suitable time for your attendance, or feel free to contact his form teacher directly to arrange an appointment.

This meeting provides an opportunity to discuss your son’s academic progress with NCEA, his goals, and future pathways. Form teachers have a holistic overview of each student’s progress and can offer valuable insights. We understand that this date can be challenging for hostel parents to attend and want to remind these families of the hostel interview day we hold on the last day of Term 1, 2 April, which is an opportunity for hostel families to meet with teachers.

As this is a formal school occasion, students are required to wear their uniform. For the remainder of the day, they are not expected to be at school but could use the time to prepare for the year ahead. If you have any questions, please contact your son’s form teacher in the first instance.

Please note that students in Years 9 and 10 will attend school as normal on this day.
