Pre-season Hockey Friendly Against SBHS

On Sunday morning, some keen hockey players braved the turf for a chance to brush off some rust against SBHS, who travelled north for a school exchange.

With a few players unavailable due to summer sport commitments, it was a good opportunity for some new players to have a run.

The game was played in excellent spirits and, despite having only one sub, OBHS managed to take the win 2–1, with goals to James Gare and Connor Sinclair.

Big thanks to everyone at Otago Hockey, the coaches Gus, Gordy and Mark, Kat N, the fabulous parents and supporters, and SBHS for a great game.
