Exemplary Conduct on and off the Court

This week our Rector received the following email regarding one of our students. What a fine young man you are Emersyn.

I just wanted to make contact with you to pass on a message regarding Emersyn McElligott. I believe Emersyn is a Year 9 pupil at OBHS, having previously been a student at Balmacewen Intermediate.

Emersyn has just refereed a futsal match at the Edgar Centre that our grandson played in. When I thanked him after the game for a job well done, we went on to chat a little about high school and his intermediate years. He struck me as being one of the most polite young men I have met – engaging and with impeccable manners. He is a credit to himself, and to his parents, of course, and he is certainly a wonderful ambassador for OB's.

I hope your school recognises what an asset it has in Emersyn. He will go far, I’m sure.
