2025 - Tohu Teina mō ngā Tikanga / Junior Values Badges: Honour Badge

At this week's final Junior Assembly, we celebrated one of our highest levels of values recognition by awarding the Junior Honour Badge to 103 deserving students. This badge is the recognition of a student's positive contribution to the school community and their consistent demonstration of all our core values (Perseverance, Excellence, Respect, Courage, and Honour) throughout the year.

The Honour Badge itself acknowledges a commitment to integrity, leadership, and setting a high standard for others.

This year, 67 Year 9 students and 36 Year 10 students earned the badge. The 67 Year 9 students who received the badge have earned the highest recognition available for our Year 9 students, setting the foundation for gaining their Above the Hoops Badge in 2026. For our 36 Year 10 students, earning this badge is a great achievement, representing two years of sustained effort and dedication to the school's values.

Thank you to our teaching staff and House Deans for their careful work in identifying and affirming these exceptional students. Earning this badge requires sustained effort and a true commitment to being a role model in and out of the classroom, upholding the principles of being Above the Hoops. Wear your Honour Badge with pride!
