Important Information regarding Kindo

We wish to advise that Otago Boys’ High School will no longer be using the Kindo payment platform from 19 December 2025.

This year has been a valuable learning experience for us, and we appreciate your patience and support as we navigated this new system.

What You Need to Do

If you currently have funds in your Kindo wallet, please ensure you either use these funds where possible or withdraw the remaining balance before 19 December 2025.

Please note: You may choose to leave the funds in your wallet if they will be used by a sibling attending another school or organisation that also uses Kindo.

How to Withdraw Your Kindo Balance

  1. Log in to myKindo and select myKindo Wallet → Withdraw from Wallet.

  2. You will receive an email with a link to the withdrawal page (check your spam folder if it does not appear).

  3. Click the link and follow the guided steps, including entering your bank account number.

  4. If the withdrawal option is unavailable, identity verification may be required due to legal obligations as a registered Financial Services Provider. Please allow 5–7 working days for the funds to be transferred to your nominated bank account.

For assistance with balances or withdrawals, please contact the Kindo Helpdesk.

Payments in 2026

From 2026, we will return to using our Kamar Finance system. Payments will once again be made directly to the school bank account, as in previous years.

If you wish to restart your automatic payments, you are welcome to do so at any time, including prior to the start of the 2026 school year.
