"Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better." – Pat Riley

At this week's Junior Assembly, we celebrated the school value of the term by awarding Excellence Badges to 212 students. It was fantastic to see so many boys recognised for their commitment to quality, pride in their work, and consistent production of high-standard outcomes across all their learning.

This term, 100 Year 9 students earned a badge (approximately 62%) and 112 Year 10 students earned a badge (approximately 58%), giving Year 9 the edge to finish the year strong.

Thank you to our teaching staff for their dedication in recognising these efforts through positive postcards and house points. These small actions make a big difference, strengthening relationships and encouraging our students to strive for their personal best in their learning. They can see that their commitment to excellence pays off with tangible recognition.

The badge criteria can be found in the students’ homework diaries.

A few outstanding achievements deserve a special mention:

Highest GPA for Effort (out of 5):

  • Year 9 – Thomas McEwan 4.87 PK7

  • Year 10 – Zac Elder 4.93 AP2

Most Positive Postcards:

Most House Points:

  • Michael Beins MC2 and Ansley Ghel Paran AP4, both Year 9s – 11 house points

Badges are a visible sign of your contribution to the school community. They look sharp on your tie or shirt collar. Wear them with pride, and let them remind others of what can be achieved.

Let’s finish Term 4 in a flourish and keep our value of Excellence at the forefront, pushing to be our best!
