Haere Rā Tom

On Thursday, we celebrated Thomas Cargill’s final day at Otago Boys’ High School with a lunch time premiere of Tom’s media studies film, “The Elevator,” in the library.

The film reflected Tom’s fantastic sense of humour that made him good company for teachers and students alike during his time at Otago Boys’ High School.

Tom has been known for his abundance of courage and perseverance during his time at school. He never failed to give his all, even when faced with physical challenges. Performing daily tasks at school, and his reluctance to complain even when faced with things he found hard or painful, is something we can all learn from.

Tom has been a gracious and well-liked student, and we wish him the best with the next chapter of his life; his bright presence at Otago Boys’ High School will be missed.
