DNI Speech Competition

Last Friday, Vincent Cavanagh (a DNI alumnus), peers from OGHS and I were honored to serve as judges for the Annual DNI Speaking Competition.

It was a tight contest, with each finalist presenting compelling and persuasive arguments.  We heard a range of topics, from sexism in sport, through to why Outdoor Pursuits should be part of the curriculum.

Vincent proved himself to be an astute judge, showing an affinity for accurately awarding points based on the content and presentation skills of each speaker.  It was a privilege to witness Vincent back at his old stomping ground, representing OBHS with professionalism and care.
