A night of talent, hard work, and recognition for our 2025 OBHS Arts Community.

Held on the 9th of October in the OBHS Maurice Joel Theatre, nearly 100 students had the opportunity to perform at our annual Arts and Cultural Showcase. The night was a fantastic window into the hard work and commitment our students and staff have shown in their respective groups.

Organised by the OBHS Arts Council and arts prefects, over 200 members of our community attended the 1.5-hour event, which showcased 10 of our performance groups. The groups and individuals who performed were: Nirbighna Acharya, Wairua Pūhou (Kapa Haka), Orchestra, Mandate (Boys' Choir), Shakespeare Group, Tama Mai Le Mauga (Pasifika Group), Minor Blues (Jazz Combo), All Blues (Jazz Band), N.A.B (Talent Quest Winners), and HoldUp (Regional RockQuest Finalist Band). The feedback from the night was phenomenal, and we greatly appreciate everyone’s attendance.

Thank you to everyone who came, and also to those who supported our raffle and OBHS Arts Review Book fundraisers. The funds raised will go towards the 2026 OBHS Arts Council budget, which will help purchase a drum cage for the school and provide scholarships to ensure all boys have an equal opportunity to perform on stage.

We will share the final video and photos shortly. In the meantime, please enjoy the selection attached!
