Last Friday, the Level 2 Food and Nutrition class put their skills to the test and their hearts into a great cause, preparing a spectacular array of dishes for their final internal assessment.
In line with World Food Day, the class also hosted a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the local food bank.
The menu was a true trip around the globe, demonstrating the students' diverse cooking talents and knowledge of different culinary regions. Attendees were spoiled for choice with a delicious spread that included:
American-style cookies and brownies
ANZAC biscuits
Cheese rolls
Mini pies
Nachos
Sushi
Tonkatsu
Fried rice
Beef skewers with chimichurri
Paifala (Samoan pineapple half-moon pies)
Sausage rolls
Butter chicken
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who supported the event by coming along, making a donation, and enjoying the culinary delights. Your generosity will make a real difference to families in our community.
Well done, Level 2 Food & Nutrition! We are so proud of your hard work, delicious food, and commitment to fundraising.
