A Celebration of Sporting Success

On Monday evening, we celebrated the successes of our winter sports athletes from Terms 2 and 3.
A total of 89 boys received Sports Blues across traditional sports, non-traditional sports, and NZ Representative (Gold Blues) categories.
We were very fortunate to have Old Boy and current Otago and Highlanders rugby star, Finn Hurley, speak to the boys about his time at OBHS and life as a professional sportsman.
A special mention goes to our boys who were selected for their respective senior New Zealand age-group teams:
Will Nichol – NZ Under 18 Hockey Squad
Neo Salomonsson – NZ Youth Swim Squad
Harry Townsend – NZ Junior Tall Blacks Basketball Squad
Ruie Hyslop – NZSS Cross Country Squad
Sef Johnston – NZ Under 18 Ice Hockey Squad
