Congratulations to Charlie Nichol for his selection into the Otago U16 Touch Rugby team. We wish you all the best for your games and skill development.

Thank you to Rahui Valli who went out hunting, gathering, and diving to help feed the troops. Ra kindly supplied delicious seafood to his mates.

On Sunday School House hosted a very successful Grandparents afternoon tea with around 30 attending. Everyone was jovial and in good spirits. It was touching seeing some strong family resemblances and the happy banter enjoyed between the boys and their grandies.

Plenty of boys are pumped and excited to go back down to the Stadium and support the Otago Rugby team in their semi-final battle against BOP on Friday night. Go Otarrrrrga!

On Monday night Claudia Christie delivered a very heartfelt message to the senior boys about her near-death experience when she contracted meningitis. It was a powerful reminder to get vaccinated as the consequences can be deadly. Year 13 parents, please be aware that the vaccine is free while your son is still at school; otherwise, it costs around $200.

Bathurst was passionately supported by the MacAskill brothers last weekend. Jack and Logan watched it with the utmost commitment and dedication while at the same time demolishing over $50 of snacks!

Last week's House Touch competition was taken out by Hawthorne, despite the best efforts of dubious calls from the unbiased referees (Seb W). This week's 100m Sprints House Comp saw false starts, tackles, but plenty of mana. The winning house was Thompson.
