This week the school received the following communication from Kym Makanesi of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora.

On behalf of the Pasifika Mapu o le Kaha'u programme, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support throughout this year.

Your continuous commitment has been invaluable to us, and we truly appreciate the role you have played in making our programme a success.

This year, we were proud to involve 8 schools, 60 students, 10 teachers and support staff, alongside over 30 of our dedicated Pasifika staff at Dunedin Hospital / Te Whatu Ora Southern  within the 4 sessions from this year.

We are also deeply thankful to Workforce Central Dunedin for generously supplying kai at the end of each session, and to Jenny Bennett from Va’a o Tautai (Otago University, Centre for Pacific Health) for joining us and providing guidance in navigating pathways.

We look forward to continuing this partnership in the coming years and we look forward to a well-deserved break and we hope to reconnect and build on this success in the new year.

Thank you once again for your generosity and dedication.
