At this week's Junior Assembly, we celebrated the school value of the term by awarding Perseverance Badges to 210 students. It was fantastic to see so many boys recognised for demonstrating resilience, putting in consistent effort, and not giving up when faced with a challenge.
This term, 62% of Year 9 and 57% of Year 10 students earned a badge, giving Year 9 the win.
Thank you to our teaching staff for their dedication in recognising these efforts through positive postcards and house points. These small actions make a big difference, strengthening relationships and encouraging our students to persist in their learning. They are seeing that their perseverance pays off with tangible recognition.

Most House Points: Connor Horne SN1- 15 house points
These badges also contribute towards the House Competition, with the standings for this round of badges as follows:

4th – Aspinall House (46)
Badges are a visible sign of your contribution to the school community. They look sharp on your tie or shirt collar. Wear them with pride, and let them remind others of what can be achieved.
Next term’s value is Excellence. What does excellence mean when it comes to learning?
It's not just about getting the top grade. Excellence is about doing your absolute best in everything you do. It's about taking pride in your work, paying attention to detail, and always aiming for quality. So next term, boys:
Aim for quality—whether it's a project, an essay, or a presentation.
Pay attention to detail—the small things make a big difference, whether it's with your uniform or your performance in arts, sports, or cultural activities.
Take pride in your work—let your effort show in the final result.
