Food & Nutrition Update

Our Food & Nutrition classes have been busy over the past two weeks.

Year 9 students have been learning practical skills in the kitchen by preparing mac ’n’ cheese and breakfast cookies, while Year 10 students are working on their “My Food Kete” projects, designing balanced meals for a family of four.

This learning extended beyond the classroom when Ms. Irving and Ms. Moore accompanied students to Maanaki – Otago Polytechnic. There, 1st-year students hosted an event showcasing local, seasonal produce from the Otago Farmers Market.

We extend our thanks to the Otago Polytechnic team and their students for providing such a valuable and inspiring experience for our boys.
