Otago Boys' Choir Performs at Big Sing Cadenza

The Otago Boys' choir, Mandate, recently traveled to Timaru to perform at the prestigious South Island's Big Sing Cadenza.

The Otago Boys' choir, Mandate, recently traveled to Timaru to perform at the prestigious South Island's Big Sing Cadenza. This two-day event brought together 12 choirs from across the South Island to showcase their talents.

Each choir performed four pieces of music across two brackets. Our boys delivered a standout performance, demonstrating their dedication and musical skill. Their excellent showing was recognized with the Wharauroa (Bronze) award, a testament to their hard work and preparation.

Congratulations to the boys and a huge thanks to John Buchanan, Sharon McLeelan and Jasmine Longley for their hours of accompaniment and direction.
