Learning New Skills in the Mountains

Last weekend, an intrepid group of boys headed into the mountains above Wanaka to spend a couple of days learning the art of “not falling over on slippery surfaces.”

This blend of Science, PE, and Outdoor Education gave the boys new skills that they quickly put into practice on the slopes.

Cardrona had considerably more snow than the surrounding mountains, and the still weather and warm sunshine added to the overall enjoyment. Photos and videos of happy students are evidence of the fun had by all.
