Realism in Year 10 Drama

In Year 10 Drama, students have been exploring the theatre form of Realism.

This style focuses on believable characters, everyday situations, and natural dialogue to reflect real life on stage.

The boys have been working with open scripts and focusing on subtext, helping them learn how to perform with truthful emotion and authentic interaction. They are also developing the importance of listening to understand, as well as how their use of voice, body, and movement can bring a character’s story to life.
