OBHS Smallbore Team Claims 2025 Otago Schools Competition Shield

Congratulations to our OBHS Smallbore team, who have taken out the 2025 Otago Schools Competition Shield.

The boys put in an outstanding performance, with Xavier Preedy recording the second-highest individual score of 189.07/200, Jack Power close behind in third with 189.04/200, and Odin Callander securing sixth place on 184.05/200.

In a tightly contested competition, OBHS held off a strong Waitaki Boys’ challenge to claim the win by just three points — a testament to the team’s skill, composure, and teamwork.
