NZ Secondary School Swimming Championships

Congratulations to Taka Sugiyama, who competed at the NZ Secondary School Swimming Championships in Hamilton last week.

With over 700 secondary school students from around the country taking part, Taka has done himself and OBHS proud.

Taka’s results:

• 12th – 400m freestyle

• 18th – 100m individual medley

• 16th – 50m breaststroke

• 20th – 100m freestyle (new PB)

• 11th – 100m breaststroke

• 14th – 200m freestyle

• 7th – 200m individual medley (new PB)

Taka will continue training hard for the upcoming NZ Short Course Swimming Champs in September.
