Outstanding Results for OBHS Clay Target Team at South Island Championships

On Saturday, 28 June, the South Island Secondary Schools Clay Target Championships took place at the Southland Club near Invercargill.

Our Clay Target team once again demonstrated their skill and sportsmanship with some impressive achievements.

Dustin Young and Konrad Todd competed in the Skeet events, while Tom Collie, Ben Roy, and Jackson Stevens joined them for the DTL competitions including Single Rise, Points Score, and Single Barrel.

The team secured 1st place in the Points Score South Island Team Event, showcasing their strength and teamwork across disciplines.

Individual honours were earned by several shooters:

• Jackson Stevens: 1st in Senior Boys Points Score, 2nd in Senior Boys Single Rise, and 2nd High Gun overall.

• Konrad Todd: 1st in Junior Boys Points Score.

• Ben Roy: 8th place in Single Rise overall.

These outstanding results reflect the dedication and hard work of our shooters and their coaches. Congratulations to everyone involved.
