Preserving our History

Recently, the school began the long journey of repairing and restoring a number of our archives.

The refurbishment of the Shand Block into a living performing arts space has meant the loss of our museum. We currently do not have a space that is fit for purpose.

While we work on displaying some of our best historical pieces, we also need to restore several of our most valuable items that have fallen into disrepair. We are looking to connect with members of our community who would be interested in assisting us with this work.

This photo shows our two top senior swimmers, Neo Salomonsson and Taka Sugiyama. The shield they are holding is the Robertson Memorial Shield from 1919. We are seeking advice on how to restore this piece of silverware and its base. We have the manpower—just not the expertise.
