To wrap up a term full of climbing experiences, our Outdoor Education students have been visiting Clip’n Climb Dunedin for a final session of fun, challenge, and friendly competition.

After weeks of building their skills on natural rock and indoor walls, many of the students have found even the most difficult climbs at Clip’n Climb surprisingly manageable.

The standout moment of the session on Thursday was the timed speed wall, where students raced against the clock - and each other. Isaac Smith earned top honours with an impressive time of 5.31 seconds, securing serious bragging rights. Not far behind was Dylan Young, who also broke the six-second mark with a speedy 5.76 seconds.

On Friday Harry McGregor improved on this time with a 4.28 second time!
