From Old Boys to All In - Honouring the past while focussing on the future

The Otago Boys’ High School Foundation has come a long way from its early days as the Old Boys Society. Back then, it was mainly about keeping past students connected and organising reunions. While that’s still part of what we do, things have changed quite a bit over time.

These days, we’re known as the Otago Boys’ High School Foundation – a name that better reflects what we’re really about. We’re no longer just for Old Boys. Our doors are open to anyone - men and women - who care about the school and want to make a difference. That includes parents of current and future students, and anyone with a can-do attitude who wants to support the OBHS community. Whether it’s improving facilities, providing financial support to boys who need access to opportunities, or backing key school projects, the Foundation is all about helping give every student the best possible experience.

Sure, there’s still that Old Boys flavour - reunions, shared stories, and a good catch-up with mates from your school days - but that’s just a part of it. Our focus is building a strong, inclusive community that’s all in for the future of Otago Boys’. It’s a team effort, and everyone’s welcome.
