Bringing History to Life with WWI Trench Re-creation

Last week, students from 9Y and 9H brought their World War I studies to life in a hands-on and imaginative way.

As part of their unit on the Great War, the boys recreated the trenches and battlefield conditions of Passchendaele—using playdough and a great deal of creativity.

Through this activity, students explored the harsh realities of trench warfare. the trenches were carefully crafted to reflect the grim conditions soldiers faced on the Western Front.

The boys showed perseverance and teamwork as they brought their ideas to life. A great example of learning through doing.
