Wairua Pūhou Kapa Haka – First Noho a Success!

Over the weekend, Wairua Pūhou held our first kapa haka noho at Otago Girls' High School.

It was a valuable and exciting step as we prepare for Hautoka, which is now just a month away, on Sunday, the 15th of June.

This noho was all about learning, connecting, and building our strength as a rōpū. It was an awesome opportunity to focus on whakawhanaungatanga, getting to know each other better, building trust, and coming together as a whānau.

A huge mihi to Otago Girls' for opening their doors and making this noho possible. We’re so grateful for the support from our tutors, teachers, and whānau who gave their time and energy to guide and feed us throughout the weekend.

And lastly, to our Wairua Pūhou tauira your attitude, effort, and commitment were outstanding. There’s still plenty of hard work and weekend commitments ahead, but we’re on the right track.
