Mana Pounamu Young Achievers Awards

The Mana Pounamu Young Achievers Awards are now open for nominations! This special event recognises the success and leadership of rakatahi Māori across secondary schools in Otago. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the awards, making it an extra special celebration.

At Otago Boys’ High School, we can nominate one junior student (Years 9–11) and one senior student (Years 12–13). We encourage all our ākonga Māori to apply, and we’d love for you to support your son with this process. He will need to submit:

1. A letter of endorsement from you, his whānau, that shares his strengths, achievements, and character. 

2. A CV, written in Word, using the example format found on the Mana Pounamu website https://manapounamu.org.nz/forms. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 27 June, with sessions held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
