While many students were enjoying a well-deserved break, Henry Hodgson spent his school holidays tackling two national-level sporting events - achieving outstanding results.
Henry competed in the New Zealand Orienteering Championships, taking on the Sprint, Middle, and Long courses in the U16 category. His results were impressive:
4th in Sprint
14th in Middle
11th in Long
Not stopping there, Henry also competed in the New Zealand Mountain Running Championships in Cardrona. The challenging 5km uphill course included a gruelling 470m elevation gain. Racing in the U20 category, Henry finished in a time of 28:02, placing a commendable 6th.
Well done Henry, your determination and versatility across multiple disciplines is inspiring. We look forward to seeing what you do next!
