On Wednesday, 14 of the non-travelling Highlanders took their training from Highlanders HQ to Otago Boys' High School.
They started off in the gym with their mental skills programme before heading to the weights room. After this, they trained on Littlebourne on a beautiful and sunny Dunedin day.
Finn Hurley, an old boy who is currently injured, spoke to some of our PE classes. He discussed dealing with injury and non-selection, topics relevant to both the Highlanders who are at home while their teammates head to Australia and to our boys going through trials and selections for rugby, hockey, basketball, football, and other sports.
Thanks to the Highlanders for bringing their training to Otago Boys' High School.
