10N Camp

I had the opportunity to spend 3 days at camp with 10N earlier this week.

Monday was a hot day up the Valley, and after the Lodge was set up most braved the chilly water of the Matukituki for a swim.  Tuesday morning was spent on indoor games as a brief rain front went through, then in the afternoon we were able to get out and explore.  Frisbee golf, dam building, clearing our trap line and fishing were some of the activities, then a visit to the glowworms after dark.

As I departed on Wednesday afternoon, the group were heading off up the East Branch for their overnight camp in hot and sunny conditions.  Plenty more adventures still to come, and hopefully better luck with the fishing.  The group return to Dunedin on Saturday evening.
