Holiday cricket success

Over the holidays, 13 of our talented boys represented the school in what would be our 2nd XI, competing at two of the most stunning venues in New Zealand.

The team had the privilege of showcasing their skills while playing in Queenstown at Jacks Point and the Queenstown Events Centre.

Throughout the week, our boys were exemplary representatives of both the school and themselves. They played competitive, hard-hitting cricket with an impressive team-first mentality that was a joy to watch.

A special mention goes to Sam Brophy, who led the way with the bat, scoring a remarkable 168 runs. His performance placed him as the 4th top run scorer in the tournament - an incredible achievement!

The team performed strongly throughout the competition, finishing 4th out of 12 teams. Over the course of five games, they won three and lost two, demonstrating resilience and teamwork at every turn.

This was a fantastic opportunity for our boys to not only challenge themselves in different competitions but to do so at some of the most picturesque cricket grounds in New Zealand. Well done to all involved!
