Training for water polo has already started this term.
With many new recruits from the new Year 9 cohort, numbers have swollen, so we will enter 3 teams in the Dunedin Schools’ Competition this term.
Training takes place at Moana Pool at 7 pm on a Tuesday. There is still room for a few players to join water polo. If you wish to do so, you need to be a competent swimmer and be able to tread water for at least one minute. Please see Ms Kelly in room 2 if you wish to join.
Oliver Jamieson in Year 12 has been named as Captain of Water Polo this year. Oliver’s commitment to the sport since year 9, his help in coaching younger students as well as his willingness to step up and help out whenever necessary has been admirable. He will make an excellent captain.
