There has been some exceptional work completed in the art room this term.

9 Art - Expressive Portraits

In Year 9 Art at the end of term we looked at German Expressionism, portraits and a form of relief print-making called a wood-cut. The students made their own expressive self-portrait using these methods. Below is a selection of the many successful outcomes for this area of learning.

10 Art - Let them eat cake

The students in Year 10 Art develop their observational drawing skills, painting skills (and eating skills) with cake as their subject matter. We look at artist Wayne Thiebaud and the way that he paints. Students learn about colour and different painting methods. These students can be congratulated on the wonderful outcomes and the effort they put into their work.
