On Tuesday, 3 December, the OBHS Auditorium was alive with intellect as our Year 9 and 10 ASPIRE groups delivered their Ideas Worth Sharing presentations.
This event marked the culmination of Terms 3 and 4’s programme involving preparation, critical thinking, and teamwork, showcasing the talent of our Year 9 and 10 students.
Each group tackled complex and thought-provoking topics, ranging from the impact of globalisation to distinguishing between freedom of speech and hate speech. Their ability to present nuanced arguments and engage the audience with confidence and clarity was impressive.
We extend our thanks to all the boys who participated. Congratulations on delivering such compelling presentations and representing the ASPIRE programme with excellence.
We also thank the whānau who came to support the students.
The ASPIRE evening truly celebrated the power of ideas and the potential of our young thinkers. Well done to all involved.
