9G has spent the entirety of Term Four on their Biography unit.

This has seen the boys using their artist model - a short biographical piece on Steven Adams - to inspire their own work.  They have focused on tense usage, including fronted prepositions in their writing, the effect of using media res to effectively start a piece, as well as taking the time to revisit how to craft varying sentence types. 

They certainly have been busy.  After interviewing their subjects (grandparents, parents, teachers and siblings), they are now crafting biographies that will be shared in the coming weeks.
