Term 4 has seen the Wednesday after-school Kī o Rahi tournament begin, and it is a hit with the boys!
Each week, a group of boys head to Bayfield to play this fast-paced, traditional Māori game, combining strategy, teamwork and fitness.
It is an exciting way to connect with culture while enjoying the thrill of friendly competition.
The boys have been quick to pick up the skills needed to master Kī o Rahi's unique blend of touch, and dodgeball-like tactics. There has been great sportsmanship and enthusiasm by everyone on the field.
Ki te kotahi te kākaho ka whati ki te kāpuia e kore e whati.
