Having only taken up singing in the last few years, Bradley Escueta and Emerson Walker have worked hard and quickly developed their singing skills.
They are both members of our school choirs, take singing lessons with Pat Scally-Richardson, have competed in local singing competitions, and Bradley was also involved in the school production. They have recently taken their next step in their musical journey, having been accepted as members of City Choir Dunedin after auditioning for David Burchell - City of Dunedin Organist, and Director of the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra and City Choir. It is a great achievement, and it is wonderful to see them both continue with their choral singing.
A big thank you to Pat Scally-Richardson for her work as vocal tutor, and Ben Madden for his years of work with them as choir director. We hope future OBHS boys will join them in years to come.
